Autumn at Summerseat Garden Centre: Our Indoor Pumpkin Patch and New Autumn Food Hut

Autumn has arrived at Summerseat Garden Centre, bringing a beautiful new woodland-themed Indoor Pumpkin Patch and our brand-new Autumn Food Hut, serving seasonal treats and warming drinks throughout the season.

From picking the perfect pumpkin and exploring the free children's trail to enjoying a freshly made toastie or a hot chocolate, there’s plenty to enjoy on an autumn visit to Summerseat.

Discover Our Woodland-Themed Indoor Pumpkin Patch

Our Indoor Pumpkin Patch is back for 2026, with a beautiful new woodland theme for families to explore. Open daily from 3rd to 31st October, the patch has been transformed into an enchanting autumn setting, complete with pumpkins, scarecrows and woodland-inspired displays.

There are plenty of photo opportunities along the way, as well as our free Autumn Pumpkin Trail for little explorers to enjoy. And, of course, you can choose your own pumpkin to take home, ready for carving or decorating.

Best of all, the Pumpkin Patch is indoors, so you can enjoy a little autumn magic whatever the Lancashire weather brings.

The Indoor Pumpkin Patch is free to enter, with pumpkins available to purchase.

Introducing Our New Autumn Food Hut

All new for 2026, our Autumn Food Hut brings together comforting savoury bites, sweet treats and warming drinks, making it easy to turn your visit into a proper autumn day out.

Enjoy freshly made sourdough toasties, hot mini doughnuts with dipping sauces, homemade cakes and cookies. If you're looking for something to warm your hands, our seasonal drinks include autumn spiced lattes and fully loaded hot chocolates.

If you're visiting with the family, meeting friends or simply popping in for a little seasonal treat, our Autumn Food Hut is the perfect place to pause and enjoy the flavours of autumn.
